Job Title: HR Coordinator Department: People Team / Benefits Reports to: HR Manager (Benefits & Ops) Status: Full time, exempt (TBD) About the role We are looking for an HR Coordinator to join our People Team!! The HR Coordinator will support the HR team with a variety of tasks and will be the go to person for benefits. Must be detail oriented. This person owns annual enrollment. Responsibilities / What you will do - Independently run the annual benefits enrollment process from planning through post-enrollment audit, including timeline, vendor file testing, and employee communications - Serve as the first point of contact for employee benefits and general HR inquiries; respond within 2 business days - Reconcile monthly vendor invoices and enrollment files against payroll deductions and resolve discrepancies with carriers - Answer employee questions about benefits, PTO, and HR policies - Perform monthly reconciliations of benefit vendor bills - Draft communications for managers about benefits changes, deadlines, and enrollment reminders - Analyze plan participation and utilization data and recommend improvements to plan design and communications to the HR Manager - Coordinate with payroll, IT, and recruiting colleagues on new hire and termination benefit events - Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and process changes - Coordinate the enrollment timeline with vendors and internal teams - Support onboarding by preparing new hire paperwork and benefits orientation materials - Recommend process improvements - Other duties as assigned What we are looking for - Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience - 3+ years of benefits administration or HR coordination experience - Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups) - Experience with an HRIS (Workday, ADP, or similar) - Excellent communication skills, written and verbal - Ability to handle confidential information - Experience with HRIS systems Notes - No direct reports.
